Who am I and How may I help you ?
I am a psychologist and psychotherapist, holding a degree from the University of Lyon 2 in France. My personal and professional journey as an expatriate has profoundly influenced my practice, leading me to specialize in intercultural issues. Having lived outside my native country, China, I've experienced life in France, Spain, Belgium, Thailand, South Korea, England, and currently reside in Tanzania. As a parent of two third-culture children (TCK), who themselves have been expatriates from a very young age, I understand the unique challenges associated with this lifestyle.Prior to my career in psychology, I worked in international companies alongside colleagues from diverse backgrounds. This experience, combined with my academic knowledge in psychology, has provided me with a deep understanding of the impact of expatriate life on individuals and their families. I offer psychological support to help you tap into your internal resources and navigate the challenges you may encounter.Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with adults, children, and families, both French and foreign. Grounded in a psychoanalytic approach, our sessions aim to create a space for open expression of emtions and feelings. I provide a caring and non-judgmental listening environment, allowing you to be honest with yourself. Upholding the principles of professional secrecy, confidentiality is assured, particularly crucial in small expatriate communities.Trained in various approaches, I integrate systemic, humanistic, and behavioral techniques to better tailor my support to your unique needs.
